Our stay was excellent, and our host was responsive to a couple minor issues. Everything was clean and spacious. There was plenty of space for our group of 4 adults to spread out, where everyone had their own bedroom. The shower was adjustable in a way that it could work well for short and tall guests alike. There was attention to detail in terms of what was provided for kitchen and bathroom basics. The knives were sharp. The pans were great for cooking meals at home. The dining table worked well for meals together, too. The beds were comfortable, and I even found a box fan in the closet (great for aomeone who needs white noise to sleep). The bedrooms are great for those who like sunlight (I brought my own coverings as someone who likes blackout shades - that was the one thing missing). The view was excellent, being up on a hill, lovely water views. The basement setup for streaming was good...lots of controllers, but clear directions how to use them.

The Ledge House is a beautiful little spot tucked into Bay View near all the sights in Annisquam, Rockport and Gloucester. It is a classic New England Coast stay in a historic home within walking distance to Plum Cove and Lanesville store. We stayed during the winter with snow on the ground, and although the private beaches were inaccessible due to the snow, it was a very cozy place to stay. I loved having the washer and dryer conveniently located in the kitchen, which was well equipped for cooking full meals. All the bedrooms and sleeping quarters were perfect for our family of six and kids of different ages. Our hosts were available and responsive when we had questions. Would absolutely stay here again, especially in warmer weather!

Marks place was great! Looked just like the photos, super clean and very cute. It was in a very nice location, super close to the water and downtown. I would definitely stay there again!

This Victorian mansion is an amazing space to gather with friends and family. Especially if you happen to get snowed in with people you love! Tons of games and books and spots to take in the view.

We had a wonderful stay here over New Year's Eve. It snowed and our kids went sledding in the garden, which has an incredible ocean view - it was truly magical. The house is phenomenal and it felt like a real privilege to get to stay in a family home so full if history. We would love to come again and I couldn't recommend it highly enough to others. Wonderful ! A place where we created memories . You can enjoy the Sun rise . Even place has great option to do work if you need to . Good home gym . All furniture and stuffs are new and very well maintained . Good collection of wines are kept to welcome 🤗

Rented this house for Christmas to have a place for family to stay. The house is roomy, convenient to town and very comfortable. Mark was very responsive to questions. Would absolutely rent again.

We were really happy with the home for our holiday family gathering because of how well it exemplifies the historic New England scene. The home captures the old world so well, but is also comfortable and functional. The sea-side setting is amazing, even in the winter, great for nature walks down to and around the shore.

We stayed at this very cute cottage for Christmas week while visiting family in Beverly. It met our needs as far as kitchen items, how cozy it is and far enough to decompress in short “Perfect location”. We experienced our first and second New England snow and frigid temperatures. Mark was very welcoming by leaving us a homemade banana bread and was pretty responsive. We enjoyed our stay and most likely going to book it again when we are up that way and hopefully much warmer temperatures. One downside is probably the getting to the dumpster - we couldn’t get up to the location because the road was covered in snow and it was a little uphill. Might be a better to just have a bin outside the cottage to put trash in. Overall, highly recommend!

Great little place right in the middle of the locals. The view from the condo was fabulous and very quiet. The place was clean and cozy. Communication with Mark was great as he was very responsive to my inquiries even during the holidays. Recommended although next time I hope to visit in the summer.
