This simple and quiet home is behind a Victorian mansion and was used as the Maids quarters to house staff. It's now a cozy vacation home to get away and take advantage of the 55 acre rambling estate, with 2 sandy beaches, meadows, forest, marshgrass, a rocky granite shoreline, a granite swimming pier, and even a lily pond. You have access to the beaches, shared with other families living in this private compound. The deck looks out to Ipswich Bay, providing a great outdoor dining space.
Good to know
There's open space downstairs with a living area, dining area and kitchen. And leads out to the deck (with grill). Upstairs is the main room with a king bed, a bedroom with two twins and the bathroom with a tub (no shower), toilet and sink. You have free reign of the acreage down to the beach (was down the hill - you'll see paths), and can take to the tennis courts (first come, first served).
Other Details to Note
The front of the house usually has other folks. Feel free to say hi or just go your own way. There is no access between the main house and maid's quarters.
