The Ledge House is a beautiful little spot tucked into Bay View near all the sights in Annisquam, Rockport and Gloucester. It is a classic New England Coast stay in a historic home within walking distance to Plum Cove and Lanesville store. We stayed during the winter with snow on the ground, and although the private beaches were inaccessible due to the snow, it was a very cozy place to stay. I loved having the washer and dryer conveniently located in the kitchen, which was well equipped for cooking full meals. All the bedrooms and sleeping quarters were perfect for our family of six and kids of different ages. Our hosts were available and responsive when we had questions. Would absolutely stay here again, especially in warmer weather!

We stayed at this very cute cottage for Christmas week while visiting family in Beverly. It met our needs as far as kitchen items, how cozy it is and far enough to decompress in short “Perfect location”. We experienced our first and second New England snow and frigid temperatures. Mark was very welcoming by leaving us a homemade banana bread and was pretty responsive. We enjoyed our stay and most likely going to book it again when we are up that way and hopefully much warmer temperatures. One downside is probably the getting to the dumpster - we couldn’t get up to the location because the road was covered in snow and it was a little uphill. Might be a better to just have a bin outside the cottage to put trash in. Overall, highly recommend!

Our family of four (five counting our dog) stayed at the Ledge house for a quick weekend away. The house was just as described, immaculately clean, and easy to find. It was very cold (single digits) at the start of our trip, and we were glad to find that the house was cozy and warm despite the weather. The beds were all comfy, the kitchen fully-stocked for cooking, and there were some games available for some family time. The ledge at the back is just a preview of what you will find a short stroll up the hill to the beach, and then around Cape Ann in general. This is quintessential New England. We'd gladly stay again!
