Our family loved Marks place it was a perfect size and beautiful space. ! It was so close to water! The views were beautiful, the screened in porch was amazing to sit on at night and there were amazing beaches really close by. We would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful outdoor dining. The house was like a magazine. Excellent upgrades. Nice walks through the neighborhood. Easy access to the Beach. Great North Shore location. View from the upstairs deck was stunning and a favorite gathering place for the family. Plenty of space. We would stay there again.

We loved Marks place. We searched “Boston” and didn’t see a lot of affordable pet friendly places. So we zoomed out on the map. Maps place looked beautiful! We had never even heard of Ipswitch before this. We had travel plans of Salem, Boston and Provincetown. Salem is about 25 mins, Boston is about 45 mins and PTown was about 3 hours. All with traffic. Only thing we would do differently would be to stay closer to PTown next time after we checked out of Marks place. The town of Ipswitch was easy to navigate and had great fun places. We found ourselves saying, let’s just go back to Ipswitch! The house, the views and neighborhood is beautiful! The house is older but very clean! It was a vintage New England charm is what we called it. It was easy to find and we would stay again!

We spent almost 3 weeks in Marks place in Marblehead. The location was perfect for walking to the harbor and the local beaches and exploring all of the history in Marblehead. We barely used our car as restaurants and shops all close by. The stairs in the unit are steep but Mark had advised us of this well ahead of time so no surprises. Unit was clean, kitchen well stocked for extended stays and laundry in the building.

We came in for a fishing trip and wanted somewhere that was peaceful to relax after the charter, Mark's place was absolutely what we needed. The location was gorgeous with stunning views and also provided the level of peace and quiet we were looking for. The house is well equipped for any cooking needs you may have. I would definitely stay again if the opportunity presented itself.

We really appreciated all the details Mark had put into this pristine airbnb. From the make-up remover wipe packets (I had forgotten my facewash so it worked out perfectly!) to fully stacked towels, we had so enjoyed this clean and modern set-up. If we are in the area again, my hubby and I said we'd def pick this place again. The lovely town is a block away from the spot so it's perfect for a nice walk and the shops were super cute! Ty for being a great host by being super responsive!

Marks’ apartment was very nice. Clean, uncluttered, very well equipped, comfy bed, good air conditioning and strong internet. Good water pressure in the shower and easy parking. Numerous nice touches such as real maple syrup, popcorn packets, excellent banana cranberry bread, cold water in fridge and nice furniture. Extremely well equipped kitchen and a very responsive, quick to get back to you host and his team. A good value - we will be back.

We came without expectations to a wonderful house that is part of an enclave of houses on or near the beach. The access to the water and great walks along the rolling pathways put in a world apart from the everyday hubbub we are used to. The house was well appointed and comfortable. No problems! We would love to return. Thanks!

Perfect! The descriptions and photos did not do justice for the house. It is beautiful, spotless, and had everything we needed. The house on the hill allowed for perfect views of the ocean from all floors. Outside landscaping is perfect! Three stories allowed for privacy for each floor while the 1st floor family rooms and patio were perfect for game nights, socializing and just hanging out together. The owners have spent a fortune making the house beautiful, fresh and maintaining both inside and outside. Mark the host was proactive with instructions, gave several recommendations and was responsive when we had questions. We arrived at 1:30 am and had no issues getting into the property. Mark made it super easy. The Swampscott area was incredible. Beaches, restaurants, grocery and in close proximity to Boston, Salem, Gloucester, and Portsmith NH. We were 1.5 hours to Portland and all of the villages in between.

Hillside is a surprisingly roomy 2 bedroom with a lovely deck looking out to the ocean. The short walk to Pavilion Beach made it feel like our private spot. Thanks for a great stay.
